Who we are:

We are Eamon Flaherty Timber Extraction Limited, a limited liability company having its registered office at Ballyshane, Kinnitty, Birr, Co. Offaly. You can contact us at this address by post or by email at info@flahertytimber.com. This privacy notice will explain how we use the personal data we collect from you.

What data we collect

We collect the following data:
- Personal identification information (Name, address, email address, phone number etc)
- Felling license data
- Photographs

How we collect your data

You directly provide us with most of the data we collect. We collect data and process data when you:
- Engage us to provide a service on your behalf
- Use or view our website via your browser’s cookies
- Engage in a contract of employment with us

Our company may also receive your data indirectly (for e.g. if the Department provided a copy of a customer’s felling licence to you directly)

How we use your data

We collect your data so that we can:
- Provide you with our service and manage your account.
- Email you with special offers on other products and services we think you might like
- We may need to email information to third parties on your behalf when necessary

The lawful basis for processing your data and who we share it with:

The legal basis for the processing of this data is necessary for the performance of a contract to which you are a party applicable and to comply with legal obligations. We will retain this data for as long as it is reasonably necessary for us to provide you with the service. If we are processing personal data based on your consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time. This does not affect the lawfulness of processing which took place prior to its withdrawal.

If you are unhappy with how we process personal data, we ask you to contact us in writing, via email, so that we can rectify the situation. You may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The Irish supervisory authority is the Data Protection Commission.
